I'm a native San Franciscan, and I love all things design.

The Past
I've been designing in some form since I was a little girl. I always told everyone that I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. I also taught myself various types of coding and HTML. Realizing that a degree in computer science wasn't the path for me, I received a degree in Industrial Art from San Francisco State University in 2007. I was honored with being nominated by multiple staff members to join Epsilon Pi Tau, the international honor society for professions in technology.

The More Recent Past
Since 2008, I have worked for a small sports gaming company that currently has over 20 million players worldwide. I was hired as a production artist and, as the company grew, so did my skills and responsibilities. I started there fresh out of college, and within the first two years of my employment, I improved efficiency by reducing production time from 18 months down to 4 months. Since then, I have worked on every golf course the company has released, mastered in-house software for game production, managed teams of outsourced contractors for retouching and color correction, and redesigned two of the company's main websites.

Side Projects
Since March, 2015, I've been working with a startup as a senior marketing communications designer, designing a mobile gratuity app. It's proceeding slowly, but I've learned a great deal and have met some amazing people in the process.

As a hobby, I also sell custom jewelry on Etsy. It's wonderful to get off the computer and get my hands a little dirty.

I'm Really Good At
I have a strong desire to grow as a designer. I find that many times, my professional growth is based on what I study, both directly and indirectly related to work, and I'm always happiest acquiring new skills and knowledge. I'm always striving to be inspired wherever I go. I work well independently but I excel when working with a team. I find myself thriving in environments of collaboration, mutual respect, and with opportunities for learning, creativity, and mentorship. I'm always being thanked for all the hard work I put in, which motivates me to work even harder and to get things done ahead of schedule.
